The top left does not look staged because the people in the photograph do not take notice of the camera. Also they are walking doing their own things. The top left is also called mimic. The name sounds like the people in the photograph are trying to mimic another group of people. This might then make you think that it is staged. The photographer makes this look like it is street photography. The reason it is not street photography is because you do not stage street photography. This photograph is staged therefore it cant be street photography. The top right looks staged. The obvious factor that makes this looked staged is that there is no room that has so many light bulbs. If there was no light bulbs then it will look like it is not staged. This The bottom left looks staged as well since there is nothing that can cause that amount of damage inside and not knocking the walls over. The bottom left does not look staged. The photographer might have seen this and took a picture. Personally I don't find this interesting and also I don't get what the photograph is about or what it is. If I were to meet the photographer I would ask what is the photo on the bottom left? What is it about? What are you trying to photograph?. The only picture that does not fit in with the style is the top right because it has a lot of people in it and it is on the street. The others were in a house or indoors.
Concept 2
Abelardo Morell
Morell doesn’t create pictures using a camera. Instead he uses camera obscure which translates from Latin to dark room. His work is mainly capturing landscape and city skylines.
Camera Obscura
We created a camera obscura. What we did is put black paper to cover up all the windows but leave a small hole in the middle. We turned off the lights and waited a couple of minutes. We made the room as dark as possible. We covered up all the windows, turn off all electronics and turned off the lights. We seen the building behind us reflecting on the pieces of paper that we hang up. I thinked it look very good.
